WORLD CLASS HIGH QUALITY NICKEL SULPHIDE RESOURCE

If you look at any number of announcements over the last 6 months from Estrella, the one common phrase used in its announcements, media articles and interviews is "World-class nickel resource".

Even in this article 2 days ago Chris was quoted as saying.

“This is an exciting stage in Estrella’s exploration program at Carr Boyd and I look forward to updating the market as we progress with Phase 4 in further unlocking a world-class, high quality nickel sulphide resource.”

So I was intrigued to understand what constituted a world-class nickel resource, after searching the net I found a paper released by BHP in 2006 titled WHAT DO WE MEAN BY A WORLD-CLASS DEPOSIT? AND WHY ARE THEY SPECIAL ?

Here is a snippet as to what they believe constitutes a world-class resource:

On average 2 to 4 world class deposits are found each year in the western world
Long Mine life
Size
World-class mines by definition are “something special”




Maths
1 million tonnes of Nickle in dollar value = 28 billion
1.3 Million tonnes of Nickle in dollar value = 36 billion
Include Cu, Au, & PGE and that might push towards 50 billion
