While I agree with you, cxy look like they are preparing to take up arms in a big way against the qld govt:

No contamination of landowner water bores
400 + samples taken
13,000 + chemical tests undertaken
Two isolated, transient readings of 2 ppb benzene in May 2010 were the only exceedancesof the drinking water benchmark (1ppb)
These readings were taken from a monitoring bore on the edge of the plant site
No exceedancesof any drinking water benchmark have been detected in surrounding landowner water bores (radius of 2 kilometres)

World domination may well be the case but I think it is first a case of vindicate yourself on home soil and then let loose on the rest of the world. Although having said that, China may well be up and running much sooner than anticipated as referenced to in your post.
