SPI 200 futures at -76. Important day for us I feel. Our market needs to show some backbone and rebound today. Technically it should IMHO, though the fact that the futures are down + being Friday and uncertainty about what might happen over the weekend! I'm looking for a rebound (i.e. not finishing 2% down on the index), though I'll probably be wrong as the market is in panic mode and all the numbers say another big red day. We'll see...
Got a call the other night from somebody representing EKA board, asking about my intentions re. AUT offer. Couldn't help thinking that now would be a opportune time for somebody to move on SEA. Some would sell, as a T/O premium cf potentially falling sp due to market woes scenario could be lucrative. I certainly hope that this doesn't happen, and going in our favour is the fact that nobody moved when sp was lingering around 40c a while back.
