I note that Saudi Oil Minister has dismissed the call for lower prices by Donald and I suspect that there will be other exporting nations who need the price to be kept up to balance their books too .... but supply and demand will rule the market .... I take your point that maybe they (America) cannot boost their production easily as they did some years ago without massive drilling and fraccing .... the wells that have stopped producing, from what I understand, cannot be restarted so that will mean that they have to drill new wells ..... From what I remember, the financiers got their fingers badly burned, due to the rapid production decay rates from the fracced wells and landowners demanding to still be paid for companies to hold onto their leases. I agree with you that if PCL have a massive resource that the share price will hold significant value. I am watching things closely as to what WDS decide ... given the change in political direction.
