At Kempfield, there is an historic Barite deposit, which has been found to be silver rich. In June 2009, ARD initiated a scoping study of a potential silver project to treat 4.6Mt of ore, grading 88g/t Ag, at a rate of 400kt/yr. The results were reported in April 2010, on an expanded project, to process 600kt/yr to produce 12Moz Ag plus 42kt Pb-‐Zn, at a C1 cost of $9.24/oz after cap.ex of $42m.
$100 silver probably $20 to produce $240mill over life of the project + $42 million for capex verus $1.2billion income or $45mill profit per year for 20 year mine life.
Probably a share price of at least around $1.30 if silver reaches $100 and stay there for a while, I don't think that will happen, but if you do then any company with a decent silver deposit on the asx is going to rise significantly.
