Matildas vs China – live stream, TV guide, how to watch, start times, dates

A clash between football heavyweights looms as the Matildas look to continue their run of good form when they host world No.13 China in two matches this week.

The Australian women, who are currently ranked No.6 in the world, took down Brazil 2-1 and 3-2 in a pair of games in September, and are now preparing for the Asian Cup in April of 2018.

Both Australia and China are among the favourites to win the cup, making this series of friendlies an opportunity for one of the sides to assert dominance as the start date draws closer.

China has been a difficult opponent for Australia to deal with over the years. Since 1988, the Matildas have recorded nine wins, ten draws and 19 losses against them.

Their last meeting was in June at the Algarve Cup in Portugal, where Australia recorded a 2-1 victory.

Matildas stars Sam Kerr, Steph Catley and Lydia Williams will look to leave their mark on these next matches and secure victory for Australia.

The first game of the series will be played on Wednesday, November 22 at AAMI Park in Melbourne, starting at 7:30pm (AEDT).

The second is scheduled for Sunday, November 26 at Simonds Stadium in Geelong with a 4:30pm start time (AEDT).
