I recall Riddle saying a while back they have entered into an off-take or two directly with graphite miners. The rest they source at market price from all around - both for themselves and to drop ship to other end users. They will buy at the "best/lowest price" they can get for the product they want, whether it comes from Brazil, the US or anywhere else, as long as supply is secure. I very much doubt he would be losing sleep about the mega pits. Perhaps he is not convinced of their economics. They also have been looking to invest in mines, but haven't found the "right" ones yet.
Let's hope SR isn't seated in between the two whales at the conference, lol. Would love to be a fly on the wall.
