Ah Poyndexter....welcome to our little Sunday evening thought provoking {same my say diatribe} exercise in philosophy.......well part philosophy and part opinion.
I would say the most destructive invention would have to be gun power because without gun powder millions would be alive today.
The nuclear bomb only killed a few hundred thousand....tops.
