its not recommended to keep its roots in water all the time.
could contribute to root rot.
Could consider getting a shallow dish of water with small pebbles in it. Build a small mound and put it on top. Should keep its roots system slightly elevated and keep some air circulating underneath. And will continue to provide the humidity so it wont dry out.
