Bit of a funny angle on the picture as I wanted to show the pot and basin more - I think I've been a bit lucky with this one especially re the water but it gets a root trim every year (spring) and branches trimmed twice a year - I fertilise with Dynamic Lifter or Garden Gold once a year , maybe the saving grace with my "wet feet" is that the tree has always been in full sun - that patio where I took the picture faces North and reaches over 40 in Summer.
I'll bear in mind the rot that my method could cause --
