We consume 4 barrels of oil for every 1 barrel of oil currently discovered.
Goblin thinks that a reduction in motor vehicle use will delay the inevitable.
Towie thinks that alternatives will be found.
What they don't factor in is the multitude of uses for oil other than transport.
It is the chemical feedstock for thousands of products.
There isn't any alternatives for this.
Our grandchildren will curse us for using so much crude for transport when there are already viable alternatives.
The crude should be spared for chemical feedstock only.
