Yepp boatboy....unfortunately most people don't like facts and run on emotion. The collateral death toll from the economic shutdown will dwarf COVID-19 deaths when history judges Government action. The deaths of many of our citizens, young and old, from suicide will be on the hands of our leaders. How many thousands/millions will die of famine due to lack of do actions and reduce food reduction.
The spin doctors will use the lines like "Our swift action saved hundreds of thousands" to justify their actions, even though Covid-19 has been spreading for possible a year. Unfortunately, all those 80-year-old citizens will continue to pass away even if we find a coronavirus vaccine. The lives of our young ones that have died from the collateral damage of coronavirus shutdowns will have been in vain.
The same media that has given Kim Kardashian incredible wealth are now giving Leaders and Old Medical advisors their moment of fame.
