On Monday, Russia is shutting down its main pipeline to Germany, Nord Stream 1, for 10 days of scheduled maintenance. Many in Berlin fear it will never reopen.
The USA may have stolen $600b in foreign reserves from Russia ... but Russia is making a fortune in energy sales.
At least the USA found a way for the US Fed to finance its interest rate increases. About $300b pa for every 100bps (1%) increase or 9% of tax receipts, which is already maxed out in Government spending.
That $600b has also helped them flip a lazy $50b to Ukraine for more weaponry and aid ... which will likely finds its way to the black market and into the possession of ... just like the $7b in weaponry abandoned in Afghanistan.
Zelensky will be fine. When its all over he'll retire to his alleged $35m home in Florida and grow fat on his alleged $1.2b in offshore bank accounts.

When Germany's economy stops, the economies of other European countries, which also got their natural gas via the Nordstream One pipeline, will also ... stop.
About two weeks after the European economy stops, the U.S. economy will be forced to shut down for lack of goods and services.
The West has reached "The End" thanks to its own Sanctions against Russia.The only thing left for the West to do is either lift all Sanctions from Russia and HOPE they respond favourably; or go to war against Russia.
The economies of western nations can't be saved from collapse without cheap Russian energy.Lift the Sanctions or declare war. There are no other options. However ... they've already spent the money.
How would the West wage war without cheap energy to power it?
