there's one thing to be lavish and there's another thing to be a total waster
we live ridiculous lives
we have couples (or singles for gods sake) who live in 5 and 6 bedroom houses with 4 or more bathrooms
we have people who have cutlery sets for 60, who never have more than 4 friends for dinner
all that crap costs the planet in a stunning way --- and, idiots who fly overseas at the drop of a hat - every year, multiple times.
I too fly overseas - but, I really try and stay for long periods.
I have neighbours who have a car -- they take the car to the supermarkets and to the patisserie
it's 400 metres away????????????????????????
I had a partner who had so many pairs of shoes it was difficult to count - but, would have gone somewhere between 30 and 50
why????????
One walk through a shopping mall and all one sees is women buying more and more shit- to be taken home and put in a dusty cupboard with miles of other shit - which is rarely if ever worn
