Further to my previous post, this is very interesting:

Telstra wifi network had to team up with FON ( global wifi provider) to provide extensive coverage of their wifi network.

FON seems to be largest federated network for wifi, similar to how NOR's ambitious plans ( or already on a verge of reality) to be largest federated network for telecommunication.   FON wifi is being used by multinational telecommunication companies of shared basis like:
Vodafone-
https://countries.fon.com/australia/used by Vodafone in europe, Telstra for Australia.  

Telstra-
https://countries.fon.com/australia/

other countries around the world-
https://fon.com/countries/

So the share business model is tested for wifi and readily embraced by big players and Norwood being the world's largest federated Telecommunication network is not far being a success like FON.

Its just matter of time for this one to be recognized and take off.
