Our current government has a poor record on international diplomacy.President Obama has repeatedly and tactfully put off visiting us in recent times.Well there must be a reason for it.
Labor's clumsy and unsuccessful attempts to gain Timor's approval for a refugee centre is one example.The excuses for not choosing the already willing Nauru are ridiculous.And insulting.
All voters would surely choose for Australia to maintain its respected position internationally.On current performance Labor will struggle to be taken seriously in future.
