I have advised my children, some family members and guys that I work with that I have an investment in a Company that I have a substantial holding in and that I have been a shareholder from day 1 ! ..... I think it is heading in the right direction and believe to be a medium to long term investment ..... opinions are mine ..... I'm not a licenced financial planner ..... do your own research etc etc
For my children ..... I have said that this may be a great first investment that they can ride the ups and downs ..... read notices of agm's and egm's, participate in rights issues and start to learn about the share market ..... we have never been taught this at school ...... I have also advised that once they have the shares it is up to them when they sell and what they sell for ..... they ned to explore their own methods
For my family ..... I have advised the same with more of an educational bias as many have no investments in shares
For the guys who work with me ..... same for my children and family ..... if no one teaches them how do they learn
I will advise them if anything has changed my investment strategy and if I decide to reduce or sell my holdings
