The Y2K issue was not a hoax. A lot of time and effort was spent on resolving the issues before they happened. That is why there were no major dramas.
I know. I worked on a lot of computer systems in the 80's and 90's and they had the potential to fall over due to the way the dates were stored. But because the world didn't end it was a hoax, LOL!
