valid point, it is the land but I am talking about the situation 35 km from the city where I live.
I know you can get a house and land out in the sticks for 600 k which as an earnings multiple is only a little more than it used to be. The land is smaller though. It is further away from the city too.
I think median prices paint a clearer picture than saying "you can still get a cheap one" because for most buyers that is not the reality. They have to work within cooee of their workplace.
