Thank you Kirschblau for setting out your opinions on Usound. I agree they seem to be quite advanced towards production and marketing of their speaker device, but I do not see it as superior to AKP’s digital speaker, quite the reverse.
It isn’t my job to convince you of anything, but let me list some of the benefits of AKP’s approach: Small form factor, low power usage, almost no distortion, almost the entire audible spectrum, elimination of DAC and amplifier circuitry. Also 120+ patents and over 120 business ready to commit as soon as the device and production process are finalised with the publication of performance specs.
Yes, progress has been slower than we shareholders would have wished, but all indications from reports at the recent AGM are that we are very nearly there.
Unsound may have a place in the market, but I believe the superior qualities of AKP’s DSR MEMS speaker will command a much higher price. By comparison, the Usound speaker is analogue and still needs both DAC and amplifier, with their attendant distortion. Moreover, Usound speakers don’t cover the full sound spectrum.
Anyway, good luck with your investment if you have shares in Usound. I have a significant holding in AKP and have added to it this month.
