I have a large self watering pot, I had it half full of potting mix. Chucked some worms from the garden in there and just added food scraps and cuttings from the tomato bush as the leaves rot and need trimming.

This morning the pot was full so I decided to empty it into the vege garden. It was full of fat healthy worms and a slurry of black goo that looked great for fertilzer on the tomatoes.

Will keep the process going. Might pay to get a compost bin with a lid though to avoid vermin visitors like the ones thumping around my roof this week.
