Its only a store of value while it is rising in price. That will only happen so long as overall demand outpaces supply. If that situation reverses then the investment flow will also reverse. No-one wants to invest in something that's dropping in price.

Not sure if we have reached that point quite yet, but keeping an eye on it. Technically its not out of the woods yet.
