Colonel, if you drove a car using the Cameroon national roads right now from Maraoua in the North to Mbalam, it would take nearly 18 hours. Now, I know that Boko Hara bases themselves in Nigeria but Maraoua was just an easy town to pick for this example.
If you were a convoy of armed militants, driving from Baga in Nigeria, it would take you even longer. That is to say if you hadn't already been captured, detained, shot at or had to make stops whilst terrorising the locals on the way. Boko Haram will need to become A LOT bigger, be financed 50 times more and have access to more sophisticated military hardware and transport before they can think of getting to Sundance's tenements.
