Unfortunately been with this since glory days of 90c plus (ouch), participated in last CR at 15.5c (but not the previous one at 30+ c).
I recall some getting rather annoyed the way the last CR went and how some wanted more and missing out. Has gone higher and now fell back to around last CR level and another CR on the way. - guess an opportunity for those wanting more at the same level. Lot of talk here too about valuations - up to 40+c - a long way off but anything is possible (or is it in one's dreams???). Then the failed Goro proceedings.
Production should increase this Q - expected more last Q but due to issues production was curtailed and now an unexpected CR. Being at the mercy of a single commodity it's more risky than RVR with it's diversification for sure and consequently a lot longer timeline for SP appreciation if at all. Mine life needs to be at least doubled for any meaningful rerate.
If not for commodity price collapse, astronomical TC's, NCZ should have been in a much better financial position by now. Perhaps when they fully ramp up and improve their recoveries with prevailing or better pricing and existing or lower TC's they'll be in a position to repay more debt and liabilities, but expectation of a dividend may or may not happen for probably another year or so (or even later) - earlier forecasts were for quite a hefty one by now.
Not selling, but neither am I buying anymore - patience with this is certainly tested but will wait and see for a year or so and see how they manage to increase earnings and how they go forward with exploration and adding to mine life (and or possible acquisitions which is hard when you have a lot of debt and other liabilities). Currently of the view that RVR is in a better position but as you know, a more detailed discussion on that appears in another thread. Just my take.
