Is it a competitive milk price ie sane as competitors?
Because if it is you must understand they can not afford it at the moment
If they matched competitors they would be bankrupt by the banks. That is the truth not mgnt being dishonest fact.
As a unit holder I want them to pay you a competitive price so you stay and they survive but until they cut their cost base they can not do it until 2019
I can assure you if they could they would as they know it is on everyone's best interest.
So it is survive 2018 with least amount of milk loss then in 2019 become competitive again
Mgnt don't have a lot of time given the balance sheet so they are trying to completely change the company from office leases to staff to the number of staff to what they sell to retraining staff. Absolutely every single part of the business is being turned upside down and as fast as possible before the milk loss and debt eats them and the co op is dead sooner than the full listing can occur
So as a unit holder I pray farmers stay one more year and we can move forward in 2019 with a level playing field with competitors
