There is a good report going around completed by bell potter looking at benefits of a merger of mgc and Bega

Interesting their numbers are very similar to mine

Key point of report is the top end price they would likely pay is $1. I think this is low and likely $1.14 nta or $1.25 to ensure farmers get their money back

They also talk of paying farmers $5.50 as an incentive to get suppliers over the line. Exactly what I said

With no takeover shares continue to trade at current levels

Note if mgc did pay $5.50 per milk solid their profit would be down by 30% and shares down 30%

Take the shares in Bega as they have a lot of upside with to companies together.
