MG should be receiving no assistance from the Feds. what so ever. They are the ones who have s'd up not their suppliers. Back to the back old days in the 70"s when suppliers were paid via reserve bank cheque. Then the Meiji saga.
It is about time they realised that they are not a major player in the industry and should have been investing in research and producing products that our trading partners require. China has become westernised and love our top end of market products not the same old soap like product.
Agree the farmers need some sort of assistance as there are too many of them to jump ship to a new processor without the other processors having time to get their side of things geared up. Assistance needs to be direct to the farmers and not MG>
