Cannot get article up but looks like utter garbage. At current milk price, season and cost of inputs no one in right mind would tip out milk. This year will be very profitable for many farmers. I am finding it far easier than the $5.50 price last year. Some people really should consider whether farming is for them. The negative frenzy is getting nauseating.

354 farms for Maffra factory this week. 351 a couple of weeks ago. It is a cracking year around here. Believe end price will be more like $5.20. Will keep Bega and others on toes.


If anyone wants to take real issue take it out on NDP. Simply haven't paid farmers and gone broke. Burra foods - Chinese don't like idea of paying for milk.
