Jeeperz Sav. The second "worse" thread on HC you reckon. All depends on what you want from a thread. Lets explore the checklist of whats on offer in some of the more "interesting" threads on HC:
1) Blatent ramping and idle claims that it'll be a 10 bagger by this time next week.
2) Occassional injection of random comments by non holders about pending capital raising that otherwise makes no sense and scares holders unnecesarily.
3) Bagging of the company board and management by posters who struggle to spell "Disclosure", let alone understanding the listing rules or corporations act.
4) Screaming 10 times a day about lack of announcements irrespective of there being anything to announce.
5) Unsubstantiated claims like "I was told by the CEO that" .......
Yeah, your right. We are missing out. It is boring not being able to argue about complete and utter crap like many other threads.
As for charity, I think not. Sure what we are investing in is a good cause and may benefil millions of poor souls suffering from these horrible diseases but each of us stands to be handsomely rewarded over time if things keep going well with BIT225. The stock has stablized at about 50% higher than the option exercise price from last xmas, ie 3 months ago. Many of us wondering if the price would even hold up long enough for the options to be exercised, let alone the impacts from expected flood of stock onto the market afterwards. I'm pleased to say that flood never happened and the price has held up well.
Sav, every one of us wants to see the SP rise. Every one of us wants to see BIT225 commercialised and we all want it to happen ASAP. Reality is however by its very nature this is a slow process in a very dynamic market.
What I respect about the BIT thread is that posters willingly provide useful and insightful commentary when there is genuine information to discuss and they are comfortable with the silence in the mean time. Just like that comfortable silense on a date, you know, when you don't feel like you have to think of something to say just for the sake of it !
The fact that BIT holders don't need to babble constantly to reassure themselves that they are onto something good says something about the type of investors BIT attracts and the company itself. BIT is a hidden gem but if things go well it will be in the spotlight soon enough and every man and his dog will be on it. Be assured that when that happens you will have all the the usual classes of content described above.
PS. HIV results due shortly. No doubt lots of discussion about statistical insignificance when those arrive.
