Just to clarify, I am not a doctor (of medicine. I am a doctor of chemistry, fwiw).
I don’t see a problem with a doctor prescribing IPPS for pain relief since that is the headline therapeutic outcome. That it gets there by a regenerative mechanism rather than blocking pain signaling is a separate matter. Of course treating pain by addressing the root cause is far more desirable.
