Turned on the TV today and ABC concluded their analysis on the Chinese vaccines with something along the lines of "but many lives were saved" rather than mention that it's ~50% efficacy meant that possibly half those vaccinated were living under a false sense of security and due to this potentially killed many more than those saved due to unintentional spread of the virus.
