By my calculations , if they treat all TBR/RND ore at Mungari, they displace about 20k ounces from their own treating for the calendar year.
But they can ofcourse make that up by using their own share of the higher grade JV ore.
So in the face of it. They can still achieve 120k ounces + for the year. Extend the the life of their own mines considerably. And get payed for treating TBR/RND ore. Plus , get the bonus by their 20%+ ownership of TBR. Wins everywhere.
So i can see the rationale. I have been waiting for their move to buy out NST. I am not surprised at all.
