However, it doesn't discuss the potentials of what Tatts will do with it's new found wealth.. i can understand the risks downside, but surely, tatts being what it is, will not sit on that and hope for the best...surely expansion is what they are looking for (overseas?).

I don't know the details..how much did they raise?
