If the quarterly targets aren't met from now on(to a reasonable degree), I feel some heads are going to roll.
Starting the September quarter.
i sense we are now at that stage.
I think the middle management may be safe but either end is not - i.e. some of the top management/ decision makers and at the other end ,some of the miners/underground development team themselves may be shown the door.
Re: the miners/underground development crew - it could be the small town ethos, they are all getting good wages and have nothing much to spend it on in a small town,typically their houses are probably paid off and feel secure and unmotivated and hence their productivity is low.
-they too probably lack a good result driven leader.
We need good leaders and motivated people throughout and I sense the penny is dropping - don't quote me on this, but that's the impression I'm getting.
The good thing is the gold isn't going away.
I'm keeping a couple of toes in as even if targets are missed I reckon a change/shake up might be just what the doctor has long ordered.
