The problem is always going to be baseload power and power required by intensive industries.
We need to replace coal power and preferably not with gas and stuff like aluminium smelters etc. That's where nuclear comes in (probably SMRs), but yes Australia has immense potential for solar and wind, possibly wave/tidal too but that can be our scalable and flex generation.
