Google it, its out there, I think it was 1998 maybe 1996 or somewhere around there. They dumped the GOLD on the market and collapsed the POG and also smashed the AUD. They lost a lot of money selling Australia's GOLD. How much of the Howard era surplus was the GOLD sale responsible for?
