Simplified, CSR are worth $1 billion approximately after excluding the receipt of $1.6 billion (after estimated taxes) on the sale of Sucrogen. This would leave the rest valued by the market at about 65 -70c a share - though other sales have been made.

About half the $1.6 billion will be needed to pay down debt and to improve the building and Aluminium side of the business. Therefore, about 50c a share is likely to be the cash return by CSR eventually.

CSR will need to be able to retain the present dividend with no further income from Sucrogen and continue recent increases.
