Hi BBV. The last I heard of you was when you abandoned AUR and went gold hunting with a company that you were sure was to be a great investment - Millennium.

Anyway, welcome back to the company that has promised a lot but delivered nothing as yet. Maybe, your return is prescient.

You have come at a quiet time for the company. It's treading water to some extent; waiting on results from drilling at Forrest/Wodger and also waiting on SFR to really get stuck into decent drilling at Morck Well where the prospect of widespread gold mineralisation is realistic - maybe a copper find as well. However, the news about AUR actually buying Sams Creek or not is the 'waiting with bated breath' event imo. If it happens then SFR will become a much bigger holder than it is now. That said, even if it doesn't happen I reckon that SFR might still become a cornerstone investor by another route. Some news should come on that front before next Tuesday.

If you buy before news comes about Sams Creek (it should happen by 31/5), then you could either be better off or about square after the news comes out, as i see the punt. Many pundits don't like Sams Creek and would see its acquisition as a burden even with more money in the bank if the funding comes in in conjunction. If it does not eventuate then more buying might come in, but then again the foreshadowed share issue at 8c would raise about another $5m (estimated) so even with Sams the SP could get a boost. Sell Sams to Oceana Gold perhaps, so more $$.
