uranium interest Sydney - Monday - June 20: (RWE Australian Business News) -
Bullion Minerals Ltd (ASX code: BLN) has acquired a new portfolio of 14
uranium projects, comprising 20 tenement applications in three states.
The tenement package, covering more than 8200 sq km, was
identified from an extensive geological review, including properties
previously subject to exploration by major international companies as
well as newly identified opportunities.
Highlights include:
* At Mt Evelyn (NT), a large landholding (4900 sq km) in the
Alligator Rivers uranium field, with potential for both unconformity
related uranium and Coronation Hill style gold-PGE deposits.
* Seven calcrete projects in WA, including three that show
significant airborne radiometric uranium highs.
* Five targets in WA, over large paleodrainage systems, with
potential for sandstone-hosted or "roll-front" uranium mineralisation.
* At Ben Lomond (Queensland), an area of 320 sq km partly
surrounding Cogema Australia's Ben Lomond uraniummolybdenum deposit.
Bullion shares today rose 1c to 13c.
