After spending nearly 10 years talking in cents per share it becomes a foreign language to talk in dollars per 8 shares - but one that will eventually be learnt.
Same thing happened with metrication. I am fluent with thousandths of an inch, inches, millimetres, miles & km...just not feet, furlongs and centimetres...anything under a millimeter is meaningless without converting to imperial first.
Totally pissed off that it wasn't a 1:10 consolidation. I stuck with a million shares so that I didn't need a calculator. (1 cent fluctuation = $10K but now it is 8 cents).
