Actually cosmoh, some of the individuals aren't allowed back into Australia, and others cannot hold company directorships in Australia - but why the hell the reciprocal arrangements don't apply in the UK is beyond me - if guilty here, they should be guilty there too imo.

I like shadders idea of putting more onus on the ASX to peruse announcements and make retrospective checks if items in the announcement prove 'down the track' to be false. Some whapping fines and bad press might stir things up more.

With the ASX being a company itself, there is a posssible conflict of interests over whether they can properly adjudicate and make correct decisions.
