I have been keeping an eye on the short positions. See below. In Feb this year there was a huge short position - people betting that another CR would be required. Lo and behold, NXT came into Cashflow +ve wih their half yearly results. Shorts got squeezed a little. Price jumped from $2 to $2.5. Shorts dropped from 10% to 8%. Since then, it looks like a systematic program to cover short postions over about the next 12 months (before next half yearly?), without pushing the price up. Has range traded around $2.50 while shorts are dropping linearly towards zero. Could explain the bots?
Either way I am hopeful that come February when shorts are closed, longs are held, it might run towards brokers targets which are >$3.
