I talked to Management on several occasions when I was a shareholder. What was I expecting to be told?
"No we're not even going to get close to producing the ounces in the guidance we have released to the ASX. We're only going to produce a few thousand ounces."
I was a fool for holding CTO so long, basically hoping that things would turn around. Well, there was plenty of that optimism in ASX releases.
I got deluded by the massive riches of those 10 million ounces of gold and how the market would rerate CTO by many multiples when production shortly took off, as per those ASX releases.
I finally made a rational decision based on the evidence I saw to get out instead of wishful thinking, hoping and dreaming and CTO is now more than 50% lower in price since I sold while gold has risen strongly.
