So far wotif have proved quite good at making moves which allow them to grow. You shouldn't discount the importance of the acquisition strategy becasue the business will grow beyond significantly beyond accommodation.
The issue of searchability and it's importance to wotif is something I am not well qualified to comment on, but as the wotif offering becomes more complete the power of their established clients becomes more significant.
These guys are not idiots and I predict they will roll with the punches if there is change in the search engine landscape.
