My main hope is that a collapse of BSL would be extremely damaging for the Gillard Govt and so they wouldn't allow it to happen. Only a few months ago Gillard was in the Illawarra virtually guaranteeing the future of the Aust steel industry. Although, she has been known to tell the odd porky before.
The unions that prop her up in Canberra would freak out if BSL went under. Would Gillard be bold/mad enough to nationalise it and blame extraordinary circumstances?
My 'strategy' at this stage is to take up the entitlement, hope it gets back to 80c or $1 and get the hell out!
