its a bunch of independent like minded shareholders. There are no goals except to hold management accountable for their responsibilities to shareholders. Therefore it is important to be able to communicate with shareholders efficiently if there is good reason to do so. Given the actions and inactions of the board over the last two years I would have thought the motivation was obvious.
