On Monday, Anthony Albanese and Jim Chalmers fronted the media to discuss to Governments up coming budget.

With Anthony Albanese playing down Phil Coorey's questions about Labor's Budget reply, stating " its a speech, not a budget. We won't be delivering a budget on Thursday night. Jim will be delivering a speech, that's it."

It begs the question. What is Labor's economic plan? How do they plan on tackling budget issues?

Will Labor's stalwart policies make a return, ending negative gearing or a reduction in CGT discount, that were hot topics at the last election.

A majority government would surely provide them the opportunity to revisit their core principle policies... should investor's be wary?
