What idiots think an opposition can produce a budget? Of course it's just a speech. Negative gearing should be abolished... but you won't hear it said pre-election.

Your average service provider (nurse, police, teacher) in a city is locked out of housing now but wait till the generation who have never seen an interest rate rise in their lifetime are paying 6%+ and rising on an 800k loan.

It won't be the side that has been in power for less than 12 moths quite rightly copping the blame for it. We are long over due to have some grown-ups with vision beyond an election cycle make hard choices.
