but, unfortunately, rather tying to be a smart alec
using sarcasm, in bad taste
i understand and know firsthand where you are coming from - it's a defilement that's trying to protect/justify itself
nevertheless,
what matters is if one is intent upon heading in a good direction - i understand that change can take time
the further you are from the source, the greater the uncertainty.
it is not uncommon for industry to lie through their teeth
often the inspectors inform the operators that they are going to come for a check a few days beforehand
often there is conflicts of interest
i used to throw chickens on to a truck and often their legs would snap
no one except for me knew
none of the others cared
i was quite ignorant
and i hated the job (but didn't really know why)
after going through hells, i've had no option but to "get my sh!t together"
and now am completely vegan for many years
and pretty healthy (mentally and physically) for my age - all things considered

pumpkin from the garden,

leeks from the garden, with gmo-free peas and mixed veges
boiled in last night's vege broth with pepper
