    Hi Dub,

I think you know the answer to that one....but I may be proved wrong down the track?

    I concur with your observations.

Whilst many are quick to jump on the Communismn wagon and flog China to death for humanitarian mistakes in the past, I can not think of a (generally speaking) happy bunch of 1.4 odd billion people who all wave the same flag.

The same crew probably feel that the Aboriginal's have been treated well in our Australian history too.

I feel 1 million times safer anyway I have been in China at any time of the day or night than I would in any Australian equivalent setting.

China and it's so-called Communism/Humanitarian record will always be the West's whipping boy while the West moves ahead with it's quasi/make the rules on the run/neo socio-capitalism. Possibly if China keeps unwinding it's ways and the West continues to implode.....we may see a switch of roles in 50 years time??? Now wouldn't that be something!!!

Sounds like you have are living in a lively part of the nieghborhood where you are - I envy you :-)

    Regards.

    K-Man
